Children’s Play Group is offered Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4pm-6pm. During this time, school aged children may receive tutoring and homework assistance, participate in arts and crafts time, and enjoy time playing with their peers while learning healthy socialization techniques. Kids enjoy activities lead by our teen volunteers, including music circle and story time. Many of our children come with parents to these groups. Parents have the opportunity to meet with other adults who may be experiencing the same hardships or stressors. Here they are able to express their needs of clothes, food, or other necessities, and share emotional needs without fear of judgment.
